Starfinder Artifacts

 

Artifacts are magical objects that are so powerful that they transcend the laws of other magic items. Each artifact has origins beyond mortal ken and a legend associated with its existence. Finding an artifact is a task of mythic proportions and an event of great historical impact. People who come to possess such objects leave behind a new chapter in the artifact’s story, for good or ill. A whole campaign or series of adventures could be based around an artifact. Hunting down the object’s location, collecting its components, or facing its current owner could all be part of the tale.

1F, 1 rd delay: Create 1 mile radius gravitational singularity w/in 5ft for 13rds. After 13rds, this randomly teleports. All w/in range make DC 25 Will save or move toward it. All w/in 120ft make DC 20 Str check to move away at 1/4 speed. Each round roll 1d20+30. If result is greater than a targets AC+8, that target moves (5+difference in AC)ft toward center. Those inside the singularity take 5d10 force dmg that increases 5 dice each round (Will DC 20 half). Those reduced to 0 or less hp have their body utterly destroyed. Those who make Will save hears asking salvation. If accepted, target is randomly teleported/planeshifted.
